On Friday, October 18th, drummer Duncan Black and I played on the main stage at Klyde Warren Park as part Hal Samples section of the Aurora Dallas 2013 Event. It was a high honor to be involved. If you weren't already aware, Klyde Warren Park is an outdoor performance space, dog park, and restaurant built above Woodall Rogers Freeway, uniting Uptown with the Downtown Arts District. If you were there, you might have no clue that cars and trucks are traveling at top speeds beneath the grass. As I said from the stage that night, with Aurora 2013, seems that Dallas has suddenly transformed into one of the great metropolitan cities of the world.
